PSU Prices: ATX and SFX Power Supplies

This page tracks what power supplies cost today. Choose ATX for a standard tower or SFX for a small-form-factor build, and you get every PSU we track sorted cheapest first.

Each list shows wattage, efficiency rating, modularity, ATX version, and whether the unit has a PCIe 12V-2x6 connector, which recent high-end graphics cards use. If you mainly care about watts for the money, the price per watt list ranks units that way.

We check every listing at least twice a day and keep the full price history. PSU prices have moved a lot this year. Our PSU price forecast explains why. Prices are the latest we've seen, so click through for the store's current price.

Frequently asked questions

How many watts do I need?

Add up your CPU and graphics card power draw and leave headroom. Your GPU maker's recommended PSU wattage is a safe starting point.

Is a modular PSU worth it?

It costs a little more and makes cable management easier, which matters most in small cases.

ATX or SFX?

SFX units are smaller and made for compact cases. If your case takes ATX, an ATX unit is usually cheaper per watt.
